Gili Meno: Among the three islands in this cluster, Gili Meno is the quietest and the smallest island also by far the most peaceful and under develop. If Gili Trawangan looks more like a tourist village, Gili Meno offers more of serene nature. In the middle of the island there is a salt lake. The water surrounding the island is clear turquoise and the beaches are covered by in brilliant white sand. Like all the Gilis, the best swimming beaches and the most tourist facilities are located along the east coast. Gili Meno is haven for those seeking unspoiled island and mostly visitors come for romantic escape and a chance to rejuvenate on islands deserted beaches.Many hotels and restaurants are located a long the south-eastern coast, with beautiful views over Gili Air and Mt. Rinjani in the east. It is possible to walk around the whole island on a small beach side track in around 90 minutes.To reach this island you can take traditional boat or charter speed boat from Gili Trawagan, Gili Air or Mainland of Lombok. Mostly visitors from Bali take fast boats and landed directly on the beach but depend on the tide, sometimes people have to take a pontoon to reach the island. For your information, not all fast boats has a route to Gili Meno. Some passengers have to reorganize their boat to reach the island upon arrival in Gili Trawangan. There are some options; you can take traditional boat but the schedule is only two times a day; at 09.30am and 04.00pm and it cost IDR. 40k/pax/ow. Another option is take speedboat from the old jetty, located right in front of Nigh Market. It cost IDR 85k-100k/pax/ow.
